I am trying to load the below url and get the dotnetnuke error window. I can access this page in IE but not in firefox. I have installed the newer version of FF, I have installed the firebug and I also cleared my history.

Is that an extension (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or external software that interact with Firefox?

It is not an extension or theme it is a webpage that comes up. I have trying to access www.michiganbrewing.com and get in the url address this:

http://www.michiganbrewing.com/Default.aspx?tabid=38&error=Value+cannot+be+null.%0D%0AParameter+name%3a+String&content=0

which comes up to a window that has this info:

DotNetNuke DotNetNuke Error

An error has occurred.

I did all that. I have installed firebug and reinstalled firefox, still having the problem. IE explorer opens up url with no problem.

I've had this same problem for a while, but I now think it's a DNN problem rather than a Firefox problem. DNN works fine on my home desktop using IE and my work laptop under IE, and also my work laptop using Firefox. I only get this problem at home on my Dell desktop using Firefox.

I believe this says that we can eliminate it being a cookie problem. IE & Firefox share the cookies, right?

I also found a number of posts on the DotNetNuke site describing similar problems, but they're all regarding implementing DNN, rather than using it.

In my case, I'm simply trying to access a parish website: www.holyspiritstl.org which is implemented using DotNetNuke.

Oh, by the way, one more clue: Firefox on my home computer did work fine for this site for a while. I started getting the error message immediately after using my edit privileges.

After I typed in my last reply, it occurred to me that perhaps some persistent data, other than cookies, was being kept somewhere. So I saved all my bookmarks, uninstalled Firefox, completely deleted my Firefox directory, and reinstalled it. The DotNetNuke site now works fine.

Of course, I have to reload my bookmarks, and re-install all the add-ins and extensions I was using, but my problem appears to be resolved.

Hope this helps.
