If you really want to remove build-in root certificates then you can edit the certificates and remove all three check marks.

Btw:
Firefox 2.0.0.17 from 2008 is pretty old.
Why are you still using such an old version (latest was 2.0.0.20) and haven't updated to Firefox 3 versions?
