Trying to update to a Windows 7 system when all I have is the system disk of my xp system. Can't bring my favorites over.

Firefox works fine on my new Windows 7 system but I cannot bring my favorites over from my old XP system disk. I salvaged the disk when the old system crashed and with a HDD to USB adapter I brought over most of my files but I can't bring over favorites or passwords. The files are fine but I can't see where they should go.
