Lost ALL bookmarks after Foxfire automaticly upgraded to 3.6.16 how do I recover them? Already looked at Tor non solution...

When Foxfire updated to 3.6.16 ALL the hundreds of bookmarks disappeared. Recovery finds none of the backups (all are at least 6months old) Tried the Tor "fix" for 3.6 there seem to be no tor up dates at this time...

Was able to get mine back: 1) Uninstalled 3.6.16 (don't know if I needed to do this?), 2) Re-installed 3.6.7 (have install file on computer), 3) looking in my profile, I noticed a file "places.sqlite.CORRUPTED" or something like that, as well as "places.sqlite", 4) termintated firefox process, 5) deleted "places.sqlite" 6) re-named "places.sqlite.CORRUPTED" to "places.sqlite". 7) re-started firefox, and walla my bookmarks are back the way they were!

Forgot to mention: after bookmarks restored, I immediately made a backup using "Organize Bookmarks". Hopefully before I update firefox in the future I will back things up properly first from now on.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
