After adding new fonts, firefox will only display diff-to-read font.
I added a disc of new fonts and now firefox only displays a difficult-to-read cursive font. I trashed the new type faces and tried to adjust my prefernces to no avail. How do I get my legible type back?

You can do a check for corrupted fonts and other font issues:
