When opening Firefox, it opens 4 separate FF programs with a blank page on each program.
I have my Firefox home page set up as Yahoo! Mail, but when I first open Firefox I receive 4 separate Firefox sessions with a blank page for each session. When I click on Tools/Options, it says Yahoo! Mail is still my home page.

It is possible that there is problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Profile Folder
Delete sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Profile Folder
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
You will have to redo App Tabs and Tab Groups after deleting sessionstore.js.

don't arrange yahoo mail to your firefox homepage, tweak it like this, well for homepage settings : display my homepage, and fill in my homepage bar as this: about:blank , and then, bookmark yahoo mail login page, when you use yahoo mails, go through your bookmarks, just simple clicks you know.
I probably wasn't very clear in my original question: I would like Yahoo! Mail to be my homepage. This was my homepage when I used Firefox 3.X and it worked fine. When I upgraded to Firefox 4.0, this no longer worked. How would I set my homepage to Yahoo! Mail again? Please note it is already listed as my homepage in the Tools/Options/Homepage - how do I get Yahoo! Mail to automatically appear when I open Firefox again?
