The main reason that I use Firefox 3.6 and not IE or Chrome is the bookmarks sidebar and how easy it is to create new bookmarks by clicking and dragging a tab into the bookmarks sidebar. Is this an option on Firefox 4?

If not, why the new system is better? Can you explain the assumptions behind the design of the new bookmarks system?

Is it that the typical user no longer needs to find bookmarks from a month or a year ago?

I know that my son age 13 doesn't use bookmarks at all, but then he doesn't visit very many sites.

The bookmarks system is the same as in Firefox 3.0 thru 3.6 versions, with a few minor changes. Saving a new bookmark by dragging the web site image (favicon) from the Location bar or a Tab works in Firefox 4.0.
