I was able to simply type the middle of an address, without the www. and .com and it would take me directly do the site. What happened to this feature?
Now when I type something into the address bar without the full address, it just takes me to a google search. Is there a way to get it to work again?

Search behavior is different from the location bar in Firefox 4+. It was changed to always search rather than using a Google algorithm. It should be more predictable now but you can change it back by changing keyword.URL in about:config to http://www.google.com/webhp?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&gfns=1
or use this extension:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/luckybar/
or this one:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/browse-by-name/
