This evening we had a power outage while I was on the computer, and ever since, when I load a website in a tab, the site's favicon (when applicable) fails to display in the tab itself, yet it has no issues displaying in both the address bar and the bookmarks. Is there any way to fix this without having to reinstall Firefox?

This happened yesterday when I needed to reinstall Firefox after needing to reinstall Windows. But having many issues, I reinstalled Windows again today, and after the second reinstallation of Firefox, I had no issues.... right up until the said power outage.

On a side note, unfortunately, I leave for a vacation tomorrow morning, and won't be back until late on the 18th, so if there are any follow-up questions, I won't be able to answer them until then.

Check to see if you have the FavIcon Picker add-on installed. If you do, this is the culprit. I had the same issue and disabling this add-on fixed my problem.
