My firefox 4 browser has stopped loading the facebook homepage, all i get is a blank white page!! how do i correct this?

The firefox 4 version has stopped opening the Facebook homepage to log on to facebook, all that i see is a constantly blank page which sits on the screen for without ever changing !! I have windows XP home edition on my PC
