When I try to downlaod Firefox it comes up with a circle with slash across it and won't downlaod.
I have used Firefox for years. Now it sits in my dock with a circle and slash across it. I'm not even sure how it got that way. I have tried to delete that icon and redownload Firefox and it ends up looking the same way. I am on a Mac with OSX 10.5.8 - 2 GHz Power PC G5 processor and 1GB DDR SDRAM memory. How can I download a usable version of Firefox again? Thanks for your help. Peter A Grant, MD

Firefox 4 isn't compatible with your PPC Mac.

For older Macs that aren't supported in Firefox 4.0, try TenFourFox for PowerPC's running Mac 10.4.11 & 10.5.8 .

Or use Firefox 3.6.17 - http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
