Firefox remembers some but not all of my pre version 5 usernames and passwords. How do I restore this feature?
Firefox used to ask if I wanted it to remember a username and/or password. After updates, etc(currently ver 5) it stopped remembering two and continuied remembering five. One of the five has had it's password changed. How do I restore and/or edit this feature. I've looked at the password profile in Preferences and find the two missing ones listed but they don't actually function. There is no apparent place I can renew/edit/restore this feature???

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.
- You enter Private Browsing mode if you select: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Never Remember History"
- To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
- Deselect: [ ] "Permanent Private Browsing mode"
In Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode Firefox won't fill names and passwords automatically and won't offer to store new passwords.
