I am running Firefox 5.0.1 on an intel Mac, OSX 10.5.8.... "Show all bookmarks" doesn't work. Under the Window menu it lists "Library" as an open window, but there is no window. Help!

I have tried restarting in "safe mode" but does not help.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
