I can't download files?
Lately whenever I go to download a file from the Internet it gives me a message I've never seen before. It says a file name (which doesn't exist on my pc) then tells me that I need to either change the properties of the file or try downloading to another file. But the download box never pops up anymore and it says this for everything I try to download. What's going on?

This doesn't seem to do anything. I have changed all preferences back to default, changed where the files goes to and nothing is working. I can download fine on Internet Explorer. What's the deal? I've never had a problem with Firefox before.

Okay, I'm going to go with this is not a browser problem, it's an OS problem. I got the blue screen. So I have to wipe the HD. I don't think anything is wrong with FF. Thanks for everyone's help. I will post on here when I'm done wiping whether or not it has solved the problem.
