I downloaded FF for my desktop, I'm sorry to say i have to use my laptop for now because my desktop blue screened as soon as I downloaded FireFox and tried to start it up. I restarted the computer and tried to start it normally, it blue screened and crashed again as soon as my Windows loading logo came up. I restarted it into safemode and my restore points were gone. I restarted again running a memory damage check, it found nothing. I tried booting my computer up into 'Safe Mode with Networking' and it, what else, blue screened and crashed again. Ive been an IE user for a very long time, and wouldn't you know as soon as I decide to download FireFox at the bidding of my friends, this happens :(. When i start into safemode, FireFox is not listed at all in my list of programs I can uninstall, so...what the hell do I do?

Try to disable hardware acceleration.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

If disabling hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.
