After my initial login to a site, when firefox doesn't ask, how do I set up to have the program memorize IDs and passwords or to change the memorized ones?

  • Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop down list
  • Highlight an entry in the drop down list
  • Press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.
  • Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"

The website may be using autocomplete=off to prevent Firefox from saving the name and password.

You can remove autocomplete=off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox save the name and password.
