FF 7.01 only loads blank pages, no error message

On my desktop it works fine, on my laptop (win7 64) initially too, but since yesterday only a blank page is loaded from every single website I try to visit. No error message is given. (IE works ok though on the same websites). I tried deinstalling, no use. I tried an older version (4): also blank pages. When I right click the blank page and then click page source the box is blank, apart from the headings. When I right click and then click page info it gives the proper address; as rendermode it gives "Quirkusmodus" and for page size it gives: "0 KB (0 bytes)" . All of this also happens when I try to access my NAS. Rather a nuisance.

Yes same here 7.01 osx blank pages and tabs. No fix?

Still no fix. I uninstalled Firefox 7.0.1 and reinstalled it and nothing loads. Blank pages blank tabs. I'm uninstalling and switching browsers. Too hard.
