Hi superspidy,

Have you looked at this article that discusses issues with the latest version of Firefox? There is some information in there on crashes at startup that might help. You should also try starting Firefox in Safe Mode? Try holding down shift while Firefox is starting up. If the crash doesn't happen in Safe Mode, you should look at Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems. There is also a lot of useful information in the Knowledge Base article Firefox crashes when you open it.
