If updating isn't working then you need to download and install the full version.
If you intend to try out beta or nightly releases then you should be aware of this.
Such issues can happen more often or the browser can stop working entirely (that is usually corrected with a respin).
Maybe it is best to stay with the official Firefox 13 release.
You can find the latest Firefox release in all languages and for all Operating Systems here:
- Firefox 13.0.x: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
- http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/
- http://nightly.mozilla.org/ Firefox Nightly Builds
I did dowloaded another nightly build (i do it everyday) and did a clean reinstall but the issue remain as i stated in the post. i have the 13 installed as well
Why using the nightly if we aren't supposed to submit bugs and problems so that they are ironed out before they become stable builds? :-)
installing one of the last nightly the issue seem resolved
