Hi, after upgrading Firefox to any version greater than 3.6(that's basically all the versions with the new layout/interface), no matter if this is 4, 10 or 13, my computer freezes every few minutes for about 30seconds-2minutes when running the new version. If I close FF the problem is gone. If I downgrade to 3.6 everything works fine too... At the times these freezing happens, there's then an error with the Event ID 9 in my Windows event log, stating: The device, \Device\Ide\iaStor0, did not respond within the timeout period. This event also sometimes occurs, when watching a movie, like once or twice per 10 movies, not constantly like when I'm using FF4.0+. Does anybody know of a way to fix this?

Hi,

After installing the latest Firefox which has many bug fixes and enhancements, you can also try to Reset Firefox via Help (Alt + H) > Troubleshooting Information.
