Browser is out of date tab displays each time I open Firefox.
Whenever I open Firefox, a tab opens in front of my home page's tab, indicating my browser is out of date. How can I stop this from happening?

Update to the latest Firefox 15.0.1 version which was released yesterday.
I would update Firefox :)
Read Update Firefox to the latest release, which will show you how to install the latest version.
I'm assuming you don't want to do the obvious thing and update Firefox, then? I'm not sure if there is a way to get rid of it besides actually getting the update.
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. There is no need to update to 15.0.1 at this time. If this were one machine, it is would be fine. But I cannot do do the update two-step every week Mozilla releases an update.
Thanks again
Well there is a need to update to Firefox 15.0.1, as it fixes several major security holes. So, you should update to Firefox 15.0.1 immediately. Also, Firefox updates only come out ever 6 weeks, and they are silent and don't disrupt you at all (add-ons are automatically made compatible, updates don't pop up while you are working, etc.)
so, for your security you should update ASAP (plus it gets rid of the update warning ;)
Every week?
You're still using 14.0.1, right? That version is nearly two months out of date.
n74jw, is your homepage still set to the old http://www.google.com/firefox/ ? as Google has not maintained the page since ever Firefox 4.0 was released as the new default homepage since is about:home
The updates are six weeks not one week and the recent 15.0.1 was only a chemspill update to fix a private browsing issue as it was not planned for.
