Firefox at my work PC (8MB RAM) never uses more than 300-400 mb no matter how many tabs opened. My home laptop XPS14 RAM 4 MB goes up to 1 GB.

I have less extensions and adds-on on my PC than on laptop. This is a real puzzle. I assume the size of RAM can't affect the actual usage of memory by Firefox.

Sorry! I meant I have less extensions etc at home laptop. Could the problem be that at home I use W7 while at work W8?
