Unknown plugins
I clicked on the "Check to see if your plugins are up to date" in the Plugins section in Add-ons Manager. I see a bunch of Google plugins (Picasa, Google Update, Google Talk Plugin Video Renderer) and Windows Live Photo Gallery in a section titled "Unknown Plugins". I was wondering if this is a problem on the end of the makers of these plugins (not keeping them up to date or not making them in such a way that Firefox can recognize whether or not they are) or if it is something on my end?
Also, my "Google Earth Plugin" is outdated but clicking Update Now does nothing. Does anyone know the reason for this?

The Mozilla plugin check website only supports some popular plugins and a lot of plugins are left and and cataloged as unknown. You can visit the websites of such unknown plugins yourself (plugins are usually installed by third-party software companies) to see if there are updates if the plugin doesn't do this automatically.

You can keep those plugins or well a good idea is to Disable them since there wont be any need of live photo gallery and Picasa extensions for Firefox, you may bravely go ahead and disable those plugins, just keep on the mostly needed ones and they ended up there because you have already installed Google apps and all :) not a deal, check to see weather the products have any new updates available, updating the products will update the extensions also, or you may disable them and stop worrying about it :)

The Mozilla plugin check website does not appear to work properly. I have the same result for all my plugins. It's just not a reliable tool.
