How does one return to the immediate preceding page, as there is no backbutton?

Unlike other browsers, there seems to be no way to return to the immediately preceding page. Why is there no back button, as one finds in IE and Chrome, for instance?

Hello, Firefox too have a Back button on the TOP- LEFT corner alongside the address bar. See the Screenshot please
