How do I change the font size in Windows 8 Touch mode?
I'm running Windows 8 Touch mode on a Windows 8 convertible and it is great but useless on some sites because I cannot change the font size and some sites show up too small. I've changed options and font size in desktop mode but it doesn't carry into Touch mode. I've used a USB mouse and pressed the scroll wheel and control key but it doesn't do anything. I've pinched the screen and trackpad to no avail. Am I missing something?

Hi daninnj, You are correct, the options in the desktop mode do not translate over to the touch mode. The font size issue may have to do with the zoom. Can you please provide the exact steps you are taking with an example web page this is happening on. None of the options in non touch mode should transfer over to the touch mode.
(Forgive the directness but)The only way to move the screen in touch mode is to touch any place on the screen and pinch to zoom. What kind of device are you trying this on? :-)
Hey,
Thanks for the quick reply. I'm using an Asus Transformer T100. An example of small font size is at the forum www.thebreakroom.org. To me the font looks like 8 point and is very hard to read. Pinching to zoom works but is very annoying because even though the font is bigger and readable, I cannot see the whole page at one time; only the section I zoomed in on. I rather have the option to change the font size (much like desktop mode) where I can have a readable size and view the whole page at one time.
Thanks,
Dan
