When I delete an emai the message disappears rather than going in the trash folder. How do I correct this
When I delete a message it disappears rather than going into my trash folder. I delete by right clicking on the message and hitting delete. Am I deleting incorrectly to get it into the folder? Where on my computer have the deleted messages been going?

Just as Shift + Delete bypasses the trash folder in Windows, so it does in Thunderbird. Are you perhaps holding the shift key? btw left click + Delete is how I would delete a message.
