Microsoft is about to stop support of XP. Can I delete IE and the XP OS and get full capability from Mozilla?

Hello ralphmcgraw, DEFINITELY NOT.

Do NOT delete IE from xp, it needed for some processes including updates, also, Windows functionality etc.

Firefox is a web browser not a Operating System (OS), so DO NOT delete your xp OS.

the better is to update your OS to win 8 in a later time. Firefox works with xp for a least 2 more versions (Australis 29), and a little more. Now we are in 27 version, you can update to 27 also.

thank you
