MyMSN is going away so how can I build an equivalent in Firefox?
Looks like the MSN changes are getting rid of being able to personalize and have a opening page with your interests and desires. Additionally, it looks like their "Favorites" is going away (I have several hundred sites there). It's ttime to re-evaluate. I would like to have an opening page that provides the topics of interest. The MyMSN allowed me to have an opening page with Weather (my selected stations), Stock Quotes (my stocks and funds of interest), FoxBusiness.com, FoxNews.com, Reuters Business News, Movie Listing and Play Times (local area theaters), AP Business News, etc. Is there a way using Firefox to construct an opening page that displays these?

There is no built-in feature for that, but some choices include:
- Yahoo or another full-featured portal. If you search for iGoogle replacement you can find many articles reviewing such sites.
- An add-on linked up with such services. Because there are many annoying speed dial extensions, if you go this route, please check reviews carefully to make sure you can control it and aren't stuck with unwanted advertising.

You could try http://www.start.me as alternative home page. It was rated as best iGoogle alternative by http://www.igooglealternatives.info.
Firefox Add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/startme/
I have had My MSN as my home page for 14 years. It has served me well with all the custom content I could ask for. But why the hell did they ruin it!!!!! I can't believe why a company would take such a great, functional product and completely trash it! They've tweaked it over the years, but never anything like this. As you can tell, I'm pissed!
I have tried My Yahoo, and like the look and layout, but it's just OK. It doesn't allow the level of customization of website feeds MSN did. Some of the news sites they DO let you choose (like Huffington Post) say they aren't available! I would love to have the comics show Bizarro, but no dice :-(.
Is there a legit, decent looking home page that I can build up MY content that's close to My MSN?
