Microsoft One Drive takes a minute or so to connect according to the tab at very top of screen. The page loads almost immediately & seems to be fully functional, but am just wondering why the tab shows the website & then "connecting" & back to showing website several times. It finally will stabilize only after 1- minute or so. This is the only website I know of that I have seen this happen on. Could there be a problem that I need to look into? I am using a Laptop Computer with Windows Vista Home Basic with a wireless Broadband Connection.

I uninstalled Flash Player as per your link you gave me & reinstalled it sucessfully. My question is how do I uninstall the 2- plug-ins "Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape Plug-ins"? I see there is a newer version that I may be able to install.

Thanks for your help.

Adobe Shockwave for Director is Shockwave Director and should also have been removed if you followed the instructions.

Type about:plugins<enter> in the address bar. Now search for the plug-in. If there is only one listing, you are all set.

I removed both versions of Shockwave Director plug-ins & then reinstalled the newest version only & I still have the connection problem as stated in my original question. What can I try to do next.

If needed, I believe I could attach a screenshot of particular website I have the problem with.

If the page is fully loaded, then it could be anything. The bad thing is, it could also be adware or tracking cookies.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

The pages fully loads quickly & seems to be fully functional on all Microsoft Websites. Would refreshing Firefox under help> troubleshooting information> Refresh Firefox be worth a try & what all does it reset?

I have run some of the above scanning programs recently & brings up nothing.
