why won't print selection work in mozilla?

It's very frustrating. Print "selection' will NOT work. I have looked at your forums and solutions and like hundreds of other people I see there they do not work! It works in other browsers. It used to work in firefox. There's NO making it happen now. Why can't you fix this????????

It works if you use { Ctrl + P } from the keyboard, rather than the "Print" button. The "selection" is gone as a result entering the Print Preview window and then going to the "native print dialog" box.

There is a Bug filed about that "regression" with the Print button.

I tried it many times. Nothing happened. I had to go to a different browser.

For others that might look at this since the OP has moved on, might try Print Edit: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/print-edit/?src=search

I use it to edit out bits of the page I don't want before printing.
