Problem in authenticating for Direct internet Access(No Proxy)

I need to authenticate for Direct internet Access(No Proxy) using my hostel internet. This is done using following URL

https://authenticate.iitk.ac.in/netaccess/loginuser.html

Earlier I could do this in firefox but now firefox cannot open the URL while other browsers can still do. Other sites can be opened in firefox.

I have installed latest version but its still not fixed.

I am attaching two images in which the URL is opened in firefox and in chrome respectively.

Click on the icon that has the lock and caution icon in the url bar. This might give some more information about the security of the page.

Another troubleshooting tip for blank web pages if this is only happening in Firefox is to change the Network Settings in Firefox. Options > Advanced > Choose how Firefox connects to the internet > Settings > [from here change the settings to auto-detect]
