ERROR mesage on closing - Instruction... 0x7479a820 ...is read only

ERROR mesage after closing Thunderbird "Instruction 0x7479a820 uses memory addres 0x747a820 Memory is read only. I started using Thunderbird about 3 months ago for the first time on a laptop with Windows 8.1 Can't find out which version of Thunderbird I am using.

Laptop AMD E1- 6010 APU RAM - 4.00 GB (3.469 usable)

However, no problem resulting from this message - simply annoying beep and having to close error message box
