Mozilla should take responsibility for these vulgar ads, that are displayed when a website is clicked. totally inappropriate for kids under18+. why in the first place these ads are even allowed by mozilla . why mozilla have given this permission to open these ads automatically unless click by user otherwise. Every kid nowadays is using computer. they dont know much about adcleaner or how to blockads. Mozilla should take responsibilty for ruining our kids. it should be integrated in firefoz to block such type of ads i dont think mozilla team is so much dumb, they knew it already and they are intentionally allowing it . WHY?

Even ad blocker is not working

Hi, sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of, and which is allowing you to see the offensive ads.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Note that not all removal programs will detect all malware, so you may need to run several or all of them.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Also try (if you haven't already) the ad-blocker Adblock Plus.

Very good advice.

Adblock Plus {web link} Blocks annoying video ads on YouTube, Facebook ads, banners and much more. Adblock Plus blocks all annoying ads, and supports websites by not blocking unobtrusive ads by default (configurable).

Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon {web link} Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon extends the blocking functionality of Adblock Plus to those annoying pop-up windows that open on mouse clicks and other user actions.

It works great for me. Is it enabled? Please post some of the web addresses you are talking about.

When a page comes up that you want blocked, right click an empty area and select Adblock Plus Popup Addon

The Firefox web browser itself does not come with a Ad blocker.

Any Ad blocker Extensions hosted at say addons.mozilla.org are made by a third-party author.

Some websites choose to show ads and sometimes they can unfortunately be of adult subject matter. Usually the ads are in relation to site subject or about some retail sites you have been to based on cookies. For example on a tv listing website I see some ads from Newegg because I have been there recently and did not clear the cookies for newegg.

Another reason for you to see ads of porn or malware nature can be due to your computer being infected by something.

The Firefox browser itself never inserts any ads in any websites.
