Comments section not working on various webpages
I am running Firefox 42.0 on Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I recently noticed that the comments section wouldn't appear on any of a number of blogs I visit.
x Tried disabling my Add Ons, no change. x Erased Cache, Cookies, etc., no change. x Tried running Firefox in Safe Mode, no change.
I do use Avast!, but I never activated the Online Security extension. Despite this, I added one of the webpages in question to the exclusions list, and there was no change.
note: I just tried visiting one of the sites with Internet Explorer-- Comments wouldn't work there, either. (so perhaps this isn't a Firefox question after all?)
Any assistance would be appreciated!

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) to see if that has effect.

Do you know whether the comments are sourced from a third party site, such as Disqus or Facebook? It would be useful to know if there is a pattern of one particular source being blocked.
If you need help investigating, please provide direct links to some specific pages where the comments do not appear.

www.sbnation.com, www.tosh.cc.com/blog, and all Disqus blogs. Facebook operates fine.
