mac delete cookies on "Close" vs "Quit?"
On a Mac. I have cookies set to delete upon Closing Firefox. BUT, clicking close (red X radio button) isn't like on a PC. The Mac essentially puts it in the dock like minimized. Then I have to Quit the app. Is it possible to clear/delete cookies and cache upon "Closing?"

The preferences for clearing browser cookies/history only happen when you QUIT the application (i.e. Firefox) completely. Clicking the red button only closes the current window (i.e. all the tabs on this panel), but Firefox is still technically open - this is how most Mac applications work. For the clearing to take effect you must quit the app (Cmd + Q, or from the top menu, Firefox > Quit Firefox)

Thanks. I was afraid that would be the response. I'm new to Mac.
