Secure Connection Failed
Hi,
I'm having problems accessing a site.
" Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to wow.corp.vodafone.pt. Peer's certificate has an invalid signature. (Error code: sec_error_bad_signature)
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem.
"
Is there a way to add this site as an exception? This site is 100% trustable.
Thanks.

I understand that the site is giving an insecure connection error. Please first try these troubleshooting steps: Secure connection failed and Firefox did not connect
However as a side note, I was also not able to connect to this domain.
The server needs to update their security as soon as possible.
Did this ever work in Firefox?
Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes. I'm running FF 44.0. My work mate is running 43.0 and he can enter that website. However, he had changed some flags under about:config but don't know wich ones. I've tried a few changes too, but none of them worked. Some other users around web reported this problem related with antivirus. I'm using windows defender and FortiClient AV.
Let me know if you have any clue about this issue.
Thanks.

I've tried those trobleshooting steps changing a few flags in about:config. Didn't worked for me...
Thanks for your reply.
I also get that error same as Rachel guigs', so it is likely an incompatibility between Firefox and that server and not a problem on your site. This server only supports weak RC4 cipher suites and SSL3 that have been deprecated in current Fx releases.
An additional problem is that the server isn't sending all required intermediate certificates, so you will get an untrusted message because of that.

Hi all. After reading the same solution around a few dozens of sites ( avast conflict) I resolved this issue installing avast. Thanks.
I also face this issue.
First it started at my work place. I thought the site is blocked by my IT dept. However, I could access it through IE. It is on Win 7 Ent. It was a few FF editions back (currently 45, happened about 4-6 weeks ago)
Today it started happening at my home as well. Windows 10 Pro. FF 45.
Site is https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do
If you go to uscis.gov and want to check status case that's where the problem starts.
No problem her with the egov.uscis.gov website.
Certificate issued by: Symantec Class 3 Secure Server CA - G4
If you can't inspect the certificate via Advanced (I Understand the Risks) then try this:
Open the "Add Security Exception" window by pasting this chrome URL in the Firefox location/address bar and check the certificate:
- chrome://pippki/content/exceptionDialog.xul
In the location field of this window type or paste the URL of the website with the https:// protocol prefix (https://xxx.xxx).
- retrieve the certificate via the "Get certificate" button
- click the "View..." button to inspect the certificate in the Certificate Viewer
You can inspect details like the issuer and the certificate chain in the Details tab of the Certificate Viewer. Check who is the issuer of the certificate. If necessary then please attach a screenshot that shows the Certificate Viewer with the issuer.
