Over last two days I've lost the task bar from the top of my home page - the one that has Outlook etc. I've tried 'restore to default' but that hasn't got it back. I've tried starting in safe mode to restore, no luck. I would be grateful if someone could advise what I should try. It's very annoying to have to 'google' hotmail to see my mail. I have a desk top pc with windows 7 pro and use Mozilla for internet. Thanks in advance.

Wow jscher2000, my thanks to you. I've got back what I wanted. It was actually nothing to do with customizing, but via that I found what I wanted. So all's well now. Sincere thanks again.

Maybe the Bookmarks Toolbar is not displaying? To turn different bars on and off, you can use one of these methods to show the toolbar list and select the desired bars there:

To turn on the Bookmarks Toolbar, Menu Bar, or other bars, click it on the list.

Was that it, or something more Microsoft-centric?
