Is the line: "Available: Zero bytes" on the screenshot anything I should worry about?

If it is or will be a problem, please tell me what to do (in layman's terms because I'm not a techie).

Note: My MacBook Pro 10.9.5 seems to be somewhat slower now with the addition of Thunderbird and Lightning.

I suggest you ask about apples operating system on an apple forum. That os after all a disk space report from the operating system not Thunderbird.
