The problematic PC says username or password incorrect. I can't get past this screen since this is the initial setup. Same account info works on this computer if using other programs like Windows Live Mail. Servername imap.secureserver.net 993 username: ****@kiowatribe.org SSL Normal Password

Outgoing servername smtpout.secureserver.net 465 username: ****@kiowatribe.org SSL Normal Password

This is usually an Anti virus / Firewall problem. Windows mail has not updated for years really. So every firewall knows it. Thunderbird updated this week.

Historically this has been a particular issue for Nortons users, but all anti virus firewalls have issues like this from time to time. Ensure email scanning is disabled in the anti virus and the firewall allows Thunderbird full access to the internet.
