How can I retrieve email information?
I recently transferred to a new email provider hosted by my ISP. I have found that a lot of information did not transfer from Thunderbird to the new account. All that I can see is basic names and phone numbers in the new account but no information such as addresses or fax numbers. If I reinstall Thunderbird will I be able to get this information back? Cheers and thanks.

Where exactly are your expecting to see this information and what did you do in Thunderbird to male it happen?
Hello, Matt, When I opened the new email account, I exported my Contacts list from Thunderbird. Then, stupidly, I uninstalled Thunderbird without checking the information. A lot of the Contacts information did not get transferred. All there are is names, phone numbers and email addresses, not home addresses, cell or fax numbers, birthdays, etc. That was why I asked if reinstalling Thunderbird would retrieve this information. I'm not sure if it is stored permanently on my computer or if it is deleted. Cheers

uninstalling Thunderbird does not affect the profile which contains settings and data. So reinstalling will probably work for you.
