Transferring Bookmarks to New Computer

My old computer died, the motherboard failed. I got a new computer and pulled the drives from the old computer, but now I'm having problems transferring the bookmarks and history from my old copy of Firefox to my new copy. Obviously, I have no way of exporting the bookmarks because the old computer doesn't exist anymore.

I located the places.sqlite file and tried to copy and paste from the old drive to the new one and it didn't work. The old bookmarks didn't copy. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks.
