Dear Sirs After an unexpected power outage, I have lost my inbox and sent files. Two other emails addresses are working normally. The message I get is: There was an error downloading the following message: From: David Jackson <dcjackson46@gmail.com>

Error with account geraldturley@btinternet.com Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the file system allows you write privileges, and you have enough disc space to copy the mailbox.
I have tried the options given on your help pages without success. Safe mode, deleting a file, restart without add ons, closing anti virus and closing Mailwasher. Please give me lin by line instructions on how to recover the emails. My phone is working and I can see the emails on Mailwasher. I am using an HP PC with Windows 10. I hope you can help. Best regards Gerald Turley

First of all it is not good that you are publishing your e-mail
Second: You shouldn't be using that computer and TB until you can restore your profile folder Inbox and Sent files because as you use it, it may be overwriting the older e-mails.
The only thing I can help you with is you going to the Profile folder and erasing the MSF (index files) for Inbox and Sent. If that does not help you should get someone expert to recover the complete Inbox and Sent files and do some voodoo to put them back into place. I know how to do it but I don't provide such services. And no one can ensure it will work.
Your computer had those files "opened" and was using them before the lights went out so some of that information might be in RAM memory and not stored on the Disk Drive. Now those files might be/look like they are empty because when you turned on your computer again it discovered that those files needed to be "closed" and the File System took care of that.
A UPS system (a small one) that can shutdown your computer normally when there is a power outage is the best way to avoid this situations (and backing up the profile folder regularly is best)
