When I created a new email address, my earlier address vanished and I can't get any email sent to it.

My old email address is suchapunimxx@xxxxx.xxx. It should still be receiving emails from people who only know that address. But I can't find it now. When I type it into the search line, I get my current email address, dacopelin@xxxxx.xxx.
