Video lagging on Netflix and Youtube.
Like the title says, when I play a movie in either Youtube or Netflix, the video starts to lag, but the audio goes on along with the subtitles. I'm using version 57.0.4.

What is the link to youtubers so other can verify what is going on? And what other Codec or Addon do you have installed?

It's no longer a problem on Youtube, though I just started to have trouble with Netflix, where the video suddenly freezes for a few seconds, while audio and subtitles plays perfectly regardless.
The only addons I have are Adblock Plus, Widevine, OpenH264 Video Codec and Shockwave Flash.
Does those problems appear on other Browser? What happens if you disable Adblock plus? Streaming from Netflix doesn't require codec but it might require Flash.

I've tested it in google chome, where it lags even more. And I've disabled the Adblock, though it didn't help.WestEnd said

I checked my plugins, cleared the cache but none of it worked. Again this isn't a problem for youtube anymore, only on Netflix.
Then you need to contact Netflix as this forum can't do or control what Netflix does with their streaming networks.
Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).
- Click the menu button , click Help and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "Start in Safe Mode".
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme, or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps in the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article to find the cause.
To exit Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help others with the same problem.
Hi dreamstreet,
In case the above doesn't solve your problem, would you please take a look at this article :
