Need t o change my email. I cannot get to it so the previous response was a waste of my time. Please try again

If you are talking about the email address for a Firefox Account, you must have access to the primary email address so that you can add a secondary email address, which what "changing" your email address entails. AFAIK there is no way around that.

The solution is to create a new Firefox Account with the 'new' email address, and delete the current one that you can no longer access.
