BSOD When Switching Websites
Using FF 60.0.2 (64-Bit) on Windows 7 computer. No significant problems in past, but over the last few days I've had three BSODs (Blue Screen of Death) when switching from one website to another. Can't find any problems with computer, which reboots and runs without problem after these crashes. No changes to computer other than two recent Windows updates (malicious software removal and monthly rollup), but first BSOD occurred before those updates.
Anyone else having this problem? Should I uninstall 60.0.2 and install an earlier version?
All suggestions welcome!

Hi, please search for cmd.exe and when found right click it and run as Administrator.
Copy/Paste sfc /scannow then Enter, reboot after ( sfc<space>/scannow ) to fig windows registry and files issues.
You can look in your Microsoft Event Viewer to determine the crash cause or get help https://www.sevenforums.com/ https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/167/windows-7/
No information came about your Video Card Drivers, I would look for updated drivers for it.
You could move to the Extended Release Version of Firefox 60.0.2esr https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/switch-to-firefox-extended-support-release-esr Firefox ESR does not come with the latest features but it has the latest security and stability fixes.
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
I tried all of your suggestions but the problem persists, albeit infrequently (four BSODs in the last 8 days). I do have a few clues, however, thanks to a utility called BlueScreenView.
1. The crash today occurred when I was switching FF 60.0.2esr from the Huffington Post site to the Los Angeles Times website. I believe (but am not certain) that the previous BSODs occurred when I made the same switch.
2. The Blue Scree utility indicates that all four crashes involved NETIO.SYS, and all four had this info: "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.
Could this be a problem with the L.A. Times website? Any other ideas? Apparently don't cause any significant problems other than loss of anything not saved. PITA!
Here's a screen shot from the BlueScreenView utility (ATTACHED)

HI, the error when you put the crash error and the file name is known and it is a windows issue brought on by with Firefox and the 2 websites.
No information came about your Extensions/add-ons please list them.
However involvement of the netio.sys, afd.sys and tcpip.sys may indicate a network filter driver is at issue.
I would suggest now to go ahead and uninstall any third party software that would install a network filter driver such as iobit malware fighter, iobit anything or any type of Driver Updating program, Internet Download Manager, and any internet accelerator software that may be installed.
Mcafee has also caused this issue.
It maybe best to go to the listed Windows forums I gave you before in my 1st reply as this is now a windows issue.
Below is the subject even though Firefox may not be the cause as per above. firefox brings on when switching from 1 website to another DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL NETIO.SYS
Please see here for the location of the Crash Dump Files. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3396005/where-can-i-find-windows-crash-dump-blue-screen-crash-dump These maybe requested but should also be reviewed.
G'luck.
