All instructions completed to set up a Master password. On last window I cannot scroll down to reach the OK box which will log in my Master password. What should I do?

If the above does not help; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/changes-toolbars-and-window-sizes-are-not-saved You may have corrupt xulstore.json or Localstore.rdf files.

Close Firefox. Open your file browser to this hidden location:

  • Mac: *~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles
  • Linux: *~/.mozilla/firefox/Profiles
  • Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
  • *C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
  • Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data
    \Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

Search for the above files. Then rename or delete them. Restart Firefox.

In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.

Hi, I would suggest not using it myself as the encryption is not that great. If loose password, if Firefox borks and locks you out, passwords are gone.

I noticed you turned off Identity Safe was there a reason ? There are also several others that are very good and popular, the 1st two here : https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/search/?platform=windows&q=Password+Manager

This saves doing extensive repairs on Firefox and is more secure. https://www.howtogeek.com/338209/you-should-turn-off-autofill-in-your-password-manager/

If want to proceed let us know.
