social blocking filter list needs to be disabled
When I go to any website like NYTimes, etc, and want to share the article I have just read, there is no social icon for twitter or facebook. Used to have it but it has disappeared. What do I do to get my share icons back?

Reinstall your Video Card Drivers as the Drivers are full of errors.
Turn off Adblock Plus
Do not go to the sites in Privacy Mode.
Use the 3 Dot Menu in the Address Bar to Email the Link
Use a Extension for Twitter : https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/search/?platform=windows&q=twitter
Check your AdBlock Plus subscriptions for one called Fanboy's Social Blocking List or something similar.

Note that a lot of content from social sites is blocked when Tracking Protection is active.
Firefox shows the shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case content is blocked by Tracking Protection.
- click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection
- You can check the Web Console by Tracking Protection

To have social media buttons on AdBlock Plus blocked, you would have had to click the 'Disable Social Media Buttons':
