I haven't been able to login to dashlane in ubuntu 18.04 with firefox. When I click on the add on icon, it displays a login popup, but it disappears just as fast.

I tried another password manager, keeper, and similarly, when I click on the password field in the addon's popup, it immediately disappears.

I have tried deleting all of my firefox extension data.

I have tried uninstalling firefox with "sudo apt remove firefox --purge, and manually removing all firefox folders left behind, then reinstalling, and only installing one plugin at a time with the same results.

I have tried safe mode, however, this only seems to happen to extensions, so that wan't any help.

I have tried resetting firefox to defaults, after re-installing, and that has not made any difference.

Try the Firefox version from the official Mozilla server if you currently use a version from the repositories of your Linux distribution.

You can find the full version of the current Firefox release (61.0.1) in all languages and all operating systems here:

Same issue with a direct download from the provided link.

OK, so when I install from ubuntu snaps, it installs 61.0.2, and one issue is fixed, but now, a new issue, I cannot use my U2F Yubikey nano any more. It has been enabled in about:config by setting security.webauth.u2f to true, and restarting the browser. However, I cannot use my key to log into sites, like google gmail, which I could when using the same version that is not a snap. So I trade one issue for another.

What are my options?

Hi, Firefox updates to version 62.0 tomorrow, Help --> About. See if anything helps, if not give a shout back.

The OP is using a Firefox build from Ubuntu so the updates will be in package manager when available. The Help->About > Update is only for the official builds from mozilla.org

Thank you. Yes am completely wrong on suggesting up date via Help --> About. Sorry about that. (no pun intended)

Please do update to version 62.0 as am sure have noticed even numbers sometimes run better.
