How do I remove the Buffer.com link that is now on almost every social media site's posts & I haven't installed/downloaded the "Share with Buffer/Buffer" app.
A couple weeks ago on all sites & social media sites I only saw the usual 2 3 or 4 options under/after the posts. Now in the past week I suddenly see this "Buffer" link that when I do click on it it doesn't buffer (or?) anything unless I have a Twitter account (requires me to log in to Twitter for some reason). I notice there is an add-on named "Buffer", but it's clear I haven't downloaded/installed that add-on (it's not shown in my computer's add-on extensions). Is there a way to remove this because I ALSO see it (Share with Buffer) as an item on the Toolbar when I click to customize it, & I have taken it off/hid it from the toolbar, but it's still there & on those sites. On my Windows 7 computer (which also has an earlier Firefox version) I don't see either of those "Buffer" things.
And in the most similar question/post I saw in Community Support (not the same problem but kinda more concerning & why I want to remove this "Buffer" thing, even if it's actually another Spyware like "feature" of Win10), their only help/solution is to upgrade their firewall that they don't know what firewall/Anti-Malware Program they may already have (lol).

Did you go to the site to see what kinda contact you can ask them about it and removing it. That isn't a browser issue.
A lot of people find social/sharing buttons annoying and use add-ons to hide or strip them from pages. That could be a feature of an ad blocker or another extension you already have installed. If not, you could try a search here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/extensions/
As with any add-on that can read/modify pages, shop carefully/skeptically.
Sorry, I missed the part about the toolbar. If you mean Firefox's toolbar, you may have an add-on that is injecting extra buttons.
You can view, disable, and often remove unwanted or unknown extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
- type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return
In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions.
Then cast a critical eye over the list on the right side. Any extensions Firefox installs for built-in features are hidden from this page, so everything listed here is your choice (and your responsibility) to manage. Anything suspicious or that you just do not remember installing or why? If in doubt, disable (or remove).
Any improvement?
